Daily Tabs 1-31

The “Daily Sales Sheets 1-31” Tabs are used to receive the copy of the daily data entry sheet (From the Pocket PC) into the Route-EXCELerator workbook. In fact the daily data entry sheet in your Pocket PC is an exact copy of these tabs, and is created in the Monthly Procedures. See “Monthly Procedures “in Support and Procedures. The “Daily” tabs are all identical in format. The first column is the “Route Name”.

This sheet has the same locations / Machines within Route format as the other sheets. The third column to the left is the “N=No Refill” indicator column. If an “N or n” was placed next to a location, it triggers a date visited to be generated with a “-NF” suffix on all the date tracking tabs. This indicates that the location was visited but there was no product filled in the machine.

Next there is a list of products. When a number is placed in a cell it triggers the product trending calculations in the rest of the product sales and related inventory totals tabs in the workbook.

At the end of each row there are “totals” and “location visited” counters. The “totals counter” is the total products purchased for that machine. In the “location visited” column a ‘1’ is generated if the “totals counter” has a value greater than “0”, indicating that the location is counted as having been visited, or an "N" or an "n" was entered into the "Not Refilled" column. This is used in various calculations throughout the workbook.

At the bottom of these sheets are totals by product, overall total products sold and total locations visited calculations for that day.

Because all of these fields are updated only as a result of coping the daily data entry sheet from the Pocket PC, this is a reference sheet only. As such it feeds almost all of the other tabs in the workbook, and you should normally not have to enter any data into this sheet directly.

However if for some reason the daily data entry sheet information can not be copied, you can manually enter specific sales data directly into the workbook.

At the bottom of the spreadsheet there are totals for the day as well as a locations visited total.
