Creating a new Monthly
Route-EXCELerator Workbook

Open the current Month
Route-EXCELerator
Workbook and save
the file, by clicking the diskette ICON, or File, Save.
Create
a new monthly file by Clicking on File, Save As. Adding
a new suffix identifying the next month.
With
the new file go to the Monthly Settings Tab ( tab to the
far left side) and click execute next to the "Clear
Date-Tabs (1-31) Data Input Area". This will
clear out all the brand sales in the workbook.
Next go
to the Current Month and click the name of the month the
light blue cell). A drop down button will appear
on the upper right corner of that cell. Click it
and select the name of the month that you are creating
the workbook for.
Repeat
this procedure for the "Days in Current Month" to the
correct number of days in the new month.
If you
are changing the amount of "Target Daily Revenue", or
"Target Location Monthly Revenue" click on the light
blue amounts and type over them with the amount you wish
to track to in the new month.
Save
the workbook by clicking the Diskette icon, or by
Clicking File, Save.
If you
need to add or delete product brands, or customers /
machines see the Procedure "Adding or deleting Product
Brands, or Customers / Machines".
Adding
or deleting Product Brands, or Customers / Machines
Before you
begin this procedure, you should save the current
Route-EXCELerator
workbook. Also you need to know that if you make a
mistake using this utility that you can not use the
standard Excel "Undo" command to correct the mistake.
You can only delete an added item, and add back a
deleted item with the utility, or exit the workbook
without saving your changes. So the precaution to
take when using is feature is Frequent Saves
between changes and make sure that you have typed in the
correct values before you click on Execute. We
recommend that whenever you are adding a customer /
machine name in an existing Route that you copy the
route name portion into the Route Name cell to minimize
a chance for typo.
To Add
a Customer / Machine Name

Save
the current
Route-EXCELerator
workbook, by clicking the diskette
ICON, or File, Save.

To add
a Customer / Machine name input the Route Name
information in the Route Name Cell, and type in the
new Customer / Machine Name information in the
Customer / Machine Name cell.

Click
the Execute Button cell
-
Confirm that you want to proceed with the
confirmation message box.

Verify
that the changes are to your satisfaction.
To
Delete Customer / Machine Name
-
Save
the current
Route-EXCELerator
workbook, by clicking the diskette
ICON, or File, Save.

To
delete a Customer / Machine name copy the
existing Route Name information in the Route Name
Cell, and copy the existing Customer / Machine
Name information in the Customer / Machine Name
cell.

Click
the Execute Button cell
-
Confirm that you want to proceed with the
confirmation message box.

Verify
that the changes are to your satisfaction.
To Add
a Product

Save
the current
Route-EXCELerator
workbook, by clicking the diskette
ICON, or File, Save.

To add
a Product input the Product Name information in the
Product Name Cell.

Click
the Execute Button cell

Confirm that you want to proceed with the
confirmation message box.

Verify
that the changes are to your satisfaction.
To
Delete a Product
-
Save
the current
Route-EXCELerator
workbook, by clicking the diskette
ICON, or File, Save.

To
delete a Product input the Product Name information
in the Product Name Cell.

Click
the Execute Button cell
-
Confirm that you want to proceed with the
confirmation message box.

Verify
that the changes are to your satisfaction.
